Japanese sandals

The settas are traditional Japanese footwears worn with a kimono, a samue, a jimbe or a yukata. Unlike getas they have no heel and are less noisy. They can be worn as sandals or bare feet during the summer season. In the same type of sandals you will also find zōris, which like settas do not have heel but they are made of rice straw.
